Bakers Keyboard Lounge is the world’s oldest jazz bar, and it’s located right in our beautiful downtown on Livernois Avenue west of Woodward. Stiletto’s is first and foremost a lesbian bar, but it’s become a haven for the entire LGBT community as well as plenty of straight people who come down to party with their friends and loved ones. They’ve got great drag shows on one side of the bar, a dance floor and cages on the other side, and in the middle there’s a pool table and video games. On the holidays they’ll have special events going on plus buffets and other goodies. The bar extends through all three sections of the building so you never find yourself waiting for a drink! They’ve always got girls coming through with trays of pucker in test tubes too, which is a nice break from the usual beer and mixed drinks. Weal Inn is a hole in the wall bar in Highland that is all about cheap beer and great karaoke as far as we’re concerned! People really love the burgers here and come from miles around just to get one. This is also a great place to catch the game on TV, whether you’re a Tigers fan or a Pistons fan, or maybe a Red Wings fan or even a Lions fan! Sometimes they’ve got live entertainment which is a very nice bonus. You will find this great little dive bar on East Highland Road between Lasalle Boulevard and Duck Lake Road North.

Skybox Sports Grill is a good bar in Highland. Just a great place to catch the game and kick back with some great burgers, fries, and drinks. If you love an icy cold beer, you’ll be happy to know that they’re always polar cold here, and they’ve got a good selection on tap too. Rusty Nail Lounge is a great hole in the wall bar in Canton that you’ve probably driven past many times, but it’s about time you stop in and check it out. They’ve got that great bar atmosphere with lots of TVs to watch the big sporting events, very nice beer selections on tap, and a staff that’s so friendly you’ll swear you’ve traveled back in time! The bar burgers are done just right here, and on Wednesday you can score some really great fifty cent coney dogs too! If you like to play Club Keno, rest assured they’ve got that too. Playhouse is an adult entertainment establishment located conveniently near the airport on Middlebelt Road near the intersection with Northline Road. They’ve got an incredible staff of over one hundred talented dancers (you read that right!) so you know that they’ll have someone your type there on any given night. They’ve got valet parking and delicious food that earns rave reviews from all the major Detroit restaurant critics. Cherry Martini is a very cool spot for delicious mouthwatering martinis and more. We love to go there on Wedneday nights for karaoke. They’ve got a very friendly host who really makes you feel very comfortable getting up on stage. The drinks here aren’t too expensive, and you’ve got a lot of tasty options when it comes to their specialty martinis and other drinks. They’ve got a monthly salsa night which is fun too!
